Calling all lamma residents and ex-residents!
Your photo could improve the lives of disadvantaged children.
If you donate just HK$20 (1.70GBP/US$2.60) using
this link on the Child Welfare Scheme website, you can send me your photo and it will be included in a collage of Lamma faces that is being created for a Lamma wall calendar.
The calendar will be approx 30cm X 40cm, will be bilingual, and will contain
11 beautiful landscape photos of Lamma, one for each month from January to November (see images on the right). However, the December page will be reserved for a collage of small face photo shots (approximately 1.5cm x 2cm) of Lamma residents and ex-residents. I am hoping to get 200 photos in the collage, and to raise a total of HK$4,000 for CWS.
Interested? All you need to do, is contribute HK$20, either using Paypal on CWS's website cwshk.org/contribute.html, or by putting your cash in the allocated boxes in the Deli, Deisels Bar or the Bookworm Café. Then, send your photo to the email address below. Alternatively, drop Deb a line and arrange for her to take the photo for you!
The calendar will be on sale at the Lamma Fun Day, and by special order from mid October to mid December. For those of you concerned about the environment, don't worry, it will be printed on paper certified from a sustainable source by the Forestry Stewardship Council (see www.fsc.org for more details).

Once 200 photos have been confirmed, it can’t be guaranteed that your photo will be published. The number of photos will be updated daily and posted at the top of this page. Please check for an update as we cannot be responsible for donations sent after 200 photos have been received already.
To order the calendar
Price will be confirmed with print quantity, but should be around HK$50-70. If you're interested in ordering any calendars, please let me know when you send in your photo by email, and I will confirm the price by email in October (inc postage if you're overseas). They will be ready for posting around the end of October, so will arrive overseas in time for Christmas!
